Description

Here is a mosaic of six fields of the ABC survey [currently in its test lunation] near the galactic plane.

The data was taken to test the observing/processing protocols led by @Astrogerdt  and the field centres developed by @James Tickner collaboratively developed by  contributions to the AB Forum. Thanks also to @Michael Ring for imaging fields in the North.

Further the data tests some of the stitching options (PI's GradientMergeMosaic and PhotometricMosaic) but it is fair to say that we haven't settled on an approach to stitching - nor whether and when to apply BlurXterminator,  (Spectro)PhotometricColourCalibration following to output of the WeightedBatchPreprocssing in PI.  But no background fitting[other than flatfielding] was applied to the data, in order to faithfully reproduce the galactic stellar gradient.

The depth is sufficient to reveal the faint RCW113 and RCW114 (just) nebulae.

All volunteers to help are welcome - whether imaging or advice on data stitching or general curation.  It was very heartening to see then over 100 people indiaited that that would be able to help, and I trust that the early mosaics [including the one posted earlier in the South Celestial Pole region] shows encouraging (very) early progress.
